Internal Rules
These Internal Rules were approved & sanctioned by the Annual General Meeting of Owners on 23 April 2010.
1. Registration
- Every new owner is asked to register with the Administration of Blue Lagoon giving full name & home address as well as e-mail & telephone number, if relevant.

2. Maintenance of Property
Every owner is requested to maintain their property & it’s environment to an acceptable standard to keep it in line with other properties to enhance the value.
3. Dogs
- Dogs have to be kept on a leash at all times on Blue Lagoon.
- All dog owners are responsible for clearing up their dog’s mess from pavements, streets & green areas of the Urbanisation. This is under local Spanish Law & owners who do not comply can be denounced & fined 300€.
- It is not allowed to let dogs roam the streets alone. Under these circumstances they can be caught & taken to the dog pound. The costs are payable by the dog owner.
- Every dog owner should ensure that their dogs are well behaved & do not cause a nuisance to neighbours & other owners – e.g.: continuous barking.
4. Vehicles
- Blue Lagoon operates a speed limit of 30km per hour.
- Long-term parking of boats, caravans, trailers & large commercial vehicles is not permitted.
- The San Miguel de Salinas bye-laws do not permit cars to be washed in the streets.
5. Unnecessary noise
- Owners are obliged to observe a suspension of noise from midnight to 8.00 a.m & to respect the Spanish ‘siesta time’ between 2.00 p.m. & 4.00 p.m.
6. Rubbish disposal
- The relevant regulations can be seen from the notice board at the arch and on this website HERE
7. Visitors, Guests & Tenants
- A copy of these Internal Rules should be made available by the owner to their vistors, guests & tenants.
8. Operating a business
Set-up & operation of a business Is regulated by ‘Normas Urbanisticas de San Miguel de Salinas F-R-4: Ficha de Planeamiento y Gestión’
